 We’re here for you!  SHaW’s Medical Care, Mental Health, Pharmacy, and Health Promotion teams have changed how they deliver services so that you can continue to be well, feel well, and do well:

    Things To Do On/Around Campus

    Things To Do in Storrs 
    For On-Campus Students in Storrs and for all UConn Students

    The following list includes suggestions of things to do during the coronavirus pandemic. They are intended to offer
    safe, ‘social-distance appropriate’ activities to help you stay engaged and active, physically and mentally. Of course
    you are reminded to stay 6 feet apart, not congregate in groups larger than 5, and wear a face mask if possible. 

    • Walk around Horse Barn Hill and surrounding areas (especially beautiful at sunrise/sunset)
    • Bring a lunch to the top of the hill on Horse Barn Hill and picnic
    • Check out/hike the Mansfield Dam State Park off Rt. 195
    • Bring a lunch and picnic to the state park
    • Walk/Jog/Bike around the campus and Storrs Center
    • On a warm day, sit out in the sun on the lawns and enjoy Nature in front of Wilbur Cross near Rt. 195
    or Mirror Lake. Bring a blanket/drink/snack.
    • Take a midnight walk to observe the full moon on May 7th (Flower Moon)
    • Walk around campus and create a photo collection of best spots on campus for later use
    • Walk vigorously (repeatedly) up the hill in front of Wilbur Cross near Rt. 195 as free exercise
